Two Wednesdsays, a Monday, and a Friday.... So here's the scoop for Shannon's Irish Pub for August: Neal plays solo on Wednesdays, August 6th & 20th, plays solo on Monday August 11th, and then does the full band show on Friday, August 15th - all at Shannon's Pub. If this is confusing, you can always consult the events section for a clearer picture. Due to several scheduling conflicts, the line-up for the 15th has been updated. Now joining Neal on stage that evening will still be Joe Curtis on guitar with the addition of drummer Mitch Dorge and bassist David Landreth. It's a very exciting line-up so don't miss it! Neal's also been working on new material in the studio for the next LP. It still hasn't been decided when (or how) it will be released but, embracing the kinds of things he writes best, the working title for the project is "l'amour fou". Expect a new track soon.

River City Rawk Show!! On the night of Thursday, August 19th 2004, Neal will be appearing on the River City Rawk Show on Power 97 FM in Winnipeg. Neal will be sitting with host Lochlin Cross to spin some tracks and discuss what's going on in his world and elsewhere. The show begins at approximately 11:20PM (Central Daylight Time). A grateful Neal will be celebrating this milestone by snacking on a bag of those new guacamole-flavoured Doritos while watching the season premiere of "Trailer Park Boys" that he had to tape on Sunday night because he was out for Easter Dinner. The Remote Soul Generals??? Neal Pinto & Remote Soul played the 2nd round of the RA NRG Showcase last night and were successful in advancing to the 3rd round. After their set, they were asked to stick around as there were going to be some out-of-town visitors who were interested in jamming later on in the evening. This band turned out to be the Soul Generals - the backing band for James Brown!!!
