Some might say that this has been going on for years like its own little "Chinese Democracy".

The good news is that, after a couple of well-advised track changes that prompted a return to the studio, everything is finally wrapping up. For the first time in a very long time, Neal is happy (didja get that?) . He's looking forward to releasing this disc and, when this brief happiness ends, embarking on writing for a full-length concept. There will another update really soon.

The Sunday night shows at Dylan O'Connor's are still going through November except for the WCMA weekend on Sunday October 22^nd where Neal will joining good friend Ingrid Johnson at the Empire Cabaret (436 Main St.) for the release of her spoken-word CD, "Black Butterfly". This special night will feature a solo performance by Neal - as well as many other artists from the urban and world genres of music.

On Saturday October 28^th at West End Cultural Centre, Neal will be joining drummer Jed Desilets as part of the Stewart McEwen Trio for a performance night by the Manitoba Independent Songwriters' Circle.
