On Thursday December 19^th, Screemin' Chix Productions (headed by Jerkwater's Darwin Foster) will be hosting the Evolution Of The Scene Media Showcase at the Avenue (333 Portage Ave.). This event employs the innovative concept of inviting a "sampler platter" of Winnipeg's best and brightest to perform on one night. From this list, a band's name will be drawn randomly and they will perform a short, 2-song set.

Rumoured to be in the hat for the evening are b.u.m.p., The Velvet Pill, and Why. Neal will also be in attendance to charge his way through a couple of songs in solo-electric form.

As mentioned earlier, the appearance times are randomly assigned but the whole event starts at 8:00PM... sharp. Tickets are $5.00 and can be requested via e-mail or at the door that evening. The whole event will also be captured on video by NetVidTV.com. Don't miss out!!

In other news, many people have been asking "When is the CD coming out?". The original sessions for the CD have been mixed, mastered, and ready to go for several months but they have been shelved in favour of all NEW material that Neal plans to develop with Remote Soul. Neal is currently in pre-production with the band on the songs that are being considered for commercial release at a later date. To hear some of the songs, catch a show!!
